Inkberrow Bowls Club members start work preparing the ground for the outdoor season.

The club is approaching a major landmark - its 30th anniversary year begins in May, with celebrations planned.

Considerable amounts of money, time and effort have been spent to improve the green and maintain it to the highest standard.
The new season starts next month, 13 or 20 April depending on weather. The annual Open Day is on Saturday 10 May, 2pm-5pm.

'New members and visitors are always promised the warmest welcome, said Alan Slater, Club President.

“Playing bowls is healthy, and a gentle way to be active. There’s a great social life too”.

The club welcomes players of all ages and skills - beginners thinking of trying bowls for the first time who are offered coaching, or experienced players seeking competitive league matches.
