OUTDOORS or in - play never stops for Inkberrow Bowls Club.

Chris Angel (pictured left) and Mac Eaton are the latest winners of the Short Mat Bowls Tournament, played indoors during the winter at the club's Pavilion in Sands Road, Inkberrow.

Inkberrow Bowls Club members also play indoors during the winter in two leagues at Littleton, near Evesham.

Inkberrow's outdoor season will start on 13 or 20 April, depending on weather.

"We're looking forward to a lovely summer season, with plenty of sun and a much improved, new sprinkler system", said Alan Slater, club President.

Inkberrow Bowls is holding its annual Open Day on Saturday 10 May, 2pm-5pm. Everyone is welcome, including children with adults.

Free coaching is offered for beginners thinking of joining.
